The VIBEN Bluetooth Portable Speaker was easy to open and start using. Instructions were included but were not necessary. It was compatible with the Bluetooth feature on my iPhone. The actual speaker sound is clear and has great volume. It's discrete and you could easily hide it somewhere during a party! It also allows you to answer calls through the speaker while listening to your jams. I would highly recommend this speaker to friends! I LOVE this speaker. I'm thinking there will be a few people receiving this as a Christmas gift this year! Pairing it with my phone was super easy (Samsung galaxy), and compared to the mobile speaker I had been using the design and function are fantastic. I find the look of the device itself very sleek and attractive, and the buttons are well placed to quickly pause, adjust sound, or skip ahead if needed. I also really love the way it throws sound. In fact I've been using it to keep me entertained and motivated while cooking dinner for my family, when my energy level is usually the lowest. The only drawback is the potential to injure myself while dancing in my socks in the kitchen!
